Each theme has an activity attached to it, which can vary in length from 1-4 hrs.  Some themes coincide with others by combining them in the right way gives you a weekend workshop.  The amount of activities  could  span over 5 days if someone wanted a week-long retreat.  Below the themes are described so you have the opportunity to ask more questions about each.  Please register to receive current information about upcoming Workshops.

Rite of Passage

Medium: Sculpture
Purpose: to create of rite of passage for the self


Journey with Visuals

Medium: viewing art
Purpose: what is the purpose of art? understanding art and art appreciation

Body Memory
Medium: Creative writing, multi-media
Purpose: to explore the concept of body memory or cell memory, to tap into the memories your body contains, whether conscious or not

Emotional Self-Portrait
Medium: writing, multi-media
Purpose: exploring your emotional landscape and your own uniqueness

Making a Puja Table
Medium: wood, paint, metal and your own personal sacred objects
Purpose: to explore what is important to you and to discover where your journey work lies

Dance and Movement
Medium: our bodies
Purpose: to exist from the head down, expressing emotions through movement rather than words

Prayer and Illustration
Medium: writing and drawing
Purpose: to explore one’s own sense of spirituality or aliveness

Chanting
Medium: voice
Purpose: meditative

Drumming Circle
Medium: drums
Purpose: to discover the heartbeat, unity and movement

The Face Behind the Face
Medium: Mask making
Purpose: exploring concepts of stillness, timelessness, decoration, movement and dance

Earth Works
Medium: outdoors in nature
Purpose: Creating beauty that is impermanent and discussing how that makes us feel

The Inner Critic I
Medium: Charcoal
Purpose: to explore both the positive and negative of the inner critic

The Inner Critic II
Medium:Creative writing 
Purpose: to place the inner critic as an employee rather than boss

Archetypal Hero
Media: pencil, pencil crayons, comic strip
Purpose: exploring personal ethics

Map of Life
Medium: paint, pastels, multi-media
Purpose: exploring one’s past - identifying milestones and crossroads, "Gathering the Bones"


All willing participants may share their visions with others through a group discussion afterwards.
